My name is Spencer Neisen. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. Apart from psychology, I also have a background in mathematics and some research. During my time in the mental health field, I have gotten the opportunity to help individuals from all walks of life. While I typically serve children, adolescents, and young adults, there is a place for everyone in my office. The issues I tend to work with are: depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma, stress, self-esteem, LGBTQIA+
I typically employ a wide range of therapeutic modalities such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and some elements of Somatic Therapy. A large focus on my work is to connect my clients with themselves and those around them, so that harmony can be achieved across all the different levels of their lives.
