My name is Samantha Plumski, I am a licensed clinical social worker in the states of North Dakota and Minnesota. I strive to make a warm, inviting, and safe space for my clients and their families to explore and process their experiences and to realize the strengths they already possess. I enjoy encouraging my clients to challenge themselves and am there to support them in whatever way that I can. I chose the field of social work and therapy because I love working with children and their families to guide them to live their best life whatever that may be. I obtained my master’s in social work at St. Catherine University/University of St. Thomas. I have multiple years of experience working with children, older adults, and individuals with disabilities. I am trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desentization Rehabilitation), PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). Personally, I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing a variety of different crafts, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
