Welcome! I’m Jenna Dobervich, a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in the Fargo/Moorhead area of North Dakota. With a profound connection to the community where I’ve lived and worked throughout my life, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my counseling practice.
My journey in psychology began at North Dakota State University, where I earned my B.S. in Psychology in 2009. Subsequently, I furthered my education at the University of Mary, obtaining my Masters at their Fargo satellite location in 2012. As a proud Bison fan, my commitment to the well-being of individuals and families is rooted in the belief that we are all part of one human family, each with unique stories of struggle.
With several years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and families in diverse settings – from homes to communities and healthcare environments. My guiding philosophy, both within and beyond counseling, centers on recognizing that we all require support, advice, and assistance at various points in our lives. I view life and the human body as intricate systems, understanding that when one part is not functioning optimally, it affects the entire system.
In my practice, I emphasize person-centered and strength-based counseling approaches. I draw from modalities such as family systems, gestalt theory, integrated care philosophy, motivational interviewing, CBT, and various other approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. My commitment is to provide a compassionate and effective therapeutic space where individuals and families can navigate their challenges, grow, and thrive.
